Explosion rocks Ethiopia

Addis Ababa - A loud explosion rocked the Ethiopian capital on Tuesday, nearly six weeks after four bombs exploded in Addis Ababa, killing one person and wounding scores of others.
A spokesperson for Ethiopia's federal police confirmed Tuesday's explosion, but didn't provide details on its nature.
Police had blamed a series of small bombings in recent months on militant elements of the political opposition.
But, the explosions, which had done little damage, had not been accompanied by any claims of responsibility and there had been no indication beyond police statements that they were politically motivated.
