Cancer 'vaccine' might be cure

Orlando - Researchers are reporting their first big successes in getting the immune system to fight cancer, after 30 years of false starts.
The method is called a cancer vaccine, although it's used to treat cancer rather than prevent it.
Doctors say one of those vaccines, which is made by Biovest International Incorporated, can keep a common form of lymphoma from getting worse for more than a year compared to standard treatments. It's the fourth time in about a month doctors have had success with such vaccines.
The findings were announced on Sunday at a cancer conference in Orlando.
