Pretoria - Nearly 1 000 members of the Young Communist League gathered outside the Zimbabwe embassy in Pretoria on Wednesday demanding democracy in that country and in Swaziland.
Lucky Lukhele of the Swaziland Solidarity Movement Members (SSM) said their members would join the protest and march from the Zimbabwean embassy to the Swazi embassy.
The SSM said King Mswati III and the Swazi government had been misleading the world by claiming to be engaged in constitutional reform for the past decade.
Among the SSM's list of demands was the unbanning of all political parties in Swaziland and an end to arbitrary arrest, torture and the victimisation of political leaders, unionists and activists.
The march was watched by about 30 police officers in seven vehicles.
