Johannesburg - Seven men were arrested for hijacking a Coca-Cola truck carrying R2.5 million worth of chemicals, Mpumalanga police said on Friday.
A spokesperson said: "The men are all foreign nationals: two from Swaziland, three Zimbabweans, one from Pakistan and a Tanzanian. The arrests were made between Tuesday and Thursday."
He said information obtained during questioning led police to the truck, which was hidden in Randburg.
The truck was hijacked in February when it was en route from Swaziland to Johannesburg. It was carrying chemicals that could be worth R32m when mixed with other chemicals.
Police were still investigating the case and more arrests could follow.
