Troops free British hostage

Bossaso - A Somali government official says troops have freed a British oil worker abducted in northern Somalia.
Energy and Minerals Ministry official Farah Abdi Hussein says one of the abductors has been killed and another wounded during a battle to free the man.
The oil worker was unharmed.
Hussein says the oil worker is a British citizen and not Pakistani as earlier reported.
Foreigners are often targeted for ransoms in Somalia and off its lawless coast, where pirates are holding several ships including a Ukrainian vessel laden with 33 tanks and other heavy weapons.
