British PM Gordon Brown has held out the prospect that Zimbabwe could be re-admitted to the Commonwealth in 2011 if it pushes ahead with reforms.
Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe says he doesn't expect the US sanctions on his country to be lifted soon.
Zimbabwe has secured $950min credit lines from China, Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai told a media briefing on Monday.
"While I was away, government through Finance Minister Tendai Biti also secured lines of credit from China totalling $950m," said Tsvangirai, who returned to Harare at the weekend from a three-week tour to Europe and the United States.
