Accra - MDC leader Morgan Tsvangirai urged the United Nations and African Union to intervene to end Zimbabwe's election crisis, a UN spokesperson said on Monday.
This comes after the opposition leader held talks with UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon.
Tsvangirai had requested the 30-minute meeting in the Ghanaian capital, Accra, just before Ban departed for Liberia on the next leg of his current African tour, UN spokesperson Michele Montas said.
