Prince has a Masters Degree in Political Studies from Rhodes University, South Africa. Before joining the ISS in 2004, he worked in the research unit of the Institute for Democracy in South Africa. Prince also worked for the Institute for Global Dialogue as a Researcher, where he spent time analysing a range of areas on contemporary African politics. His research interests include foreign policy analysis, democratisation and regional integration. He writes for News24 in his personal capacity.
