Swayze: I'm doing well

Los Angeles - Dirty Dancing star Patrick Swayze is responding well to treatment for pancreatic cancer, he told People magazine.
Swayze, 55, who announced in March that he had been diagnosed with cancer, is receiving treatment at Stanford University Medical Centre near San Francisco.
"I am continuing treatment at Stanford and the great news is I continue to respond well," Swayze said in a statement to the magazine.
The treatment evidently is not slowing him down too much. People said Swayze spent the holiday weekend taking in a Los Angeles Lakers basketball game and shopping for jewellery for his wife, Lisa, in Reno, Nevada.
