Borat swimsuits banned

Wellington - New Zealand police said on Monday they would not allow rugby fans to wear the skimpy swimsuit of movie star Borat at a seven-a-side tournament in Wellington this weekend.
"It's a family event and there will be children there," an officer told the TV3 network, appealing to fans to have "a sense of decency".
The round of the world rugby Sevens (after Dubai and South Africa this year) traditionally attracts thousands of Wellington fans who don all kinds of fancy dress.
Police turned a blind eye last time when dozens of men turned up in the revealing figure-hugging yellow swimsuits Sacha Baron Cohen made famous in his hit movie Borat.
They will be turned away this year, the officer said. - Sapa-dpa
