OJ Simpson gets bail

Los Angeles - Former American football star OJ Simpson was granted bail on Tuesday by a Las Vegas judge in his first court appearance on armed robbery and kidnapping charges.

Bail for Simpson was set at $125 000 and the disgraced sports icon must surrender his passport within 24 hours following an agreement between prosecution and defence lawyers.
