No smoking in prison - Kiefer

Los Angeles - Kiefer Sutherland claims being in prison helped him quit smoking.
The 24 star - who was jailed for 48 days last December for driving under the influence of alcohol - says although his time behind bars was gruelling, it gave him the opportunity to kick his nicotine habit.
"My drinking was not a daily thing, so it wasn't an issue. And, oddly enough, neither was the smoking," he said.
"I was very glad to know that I could quit. And one day soon I will."
The 41-year-old actor also revealed he endured glaring light in his cell and could not escape the constant surveillance.
No privacy
"The lights never go out. You can't cover anything. You can't even put your head under a blanket. All the cells have cameras in them," he added.
Kiefer - who spent Christmas, New Year's Eve and his birthday, December 21, behind bars - also says the promise of privacy was broken as soon as he entered the facility.
"I was told, you know, 'You'll have your own cell.' But I didn't for the first two or three weeks," he added to Men's Vogue magazine.
