Potter star rages over Twitter

London - Emma Watson has blasted reports she will attend university in the US.
The Harry Potter actor has denied she wrote "I got into Yale!" on Twitter, claiming she doesn't even have an account with the social networking site.
"There have been several rumours spreading recently that Emma has accepted a place at Yale University after 'telling her fans via her Twitter account'," a statement on her official website said.
"Emma does not have a Twitter account and these rumours are false. Emma is still trying to decide whether she wants to attend university in the UK or the USA and hasn't accepted any placements at this time."
Emma - who plays Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter franchise - is planning to start university this year, after deferring for a year to go travelling.
"I've applied to a few universities for next year, including several American ones. If I do go there I will do a liberal arts degree, but if I stay in the UK I'll do English Literature," she said last October.
The 18-year-old actor also prompted rumours she was to attend Harvard, another elite US university, after visiting the English department at the Massachusetts university.
