Cape Town - Are Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie getting married on Monday in Namibia?
This is the question on everyone's lips in the entertainment world as security tightens around Hollywood's golden couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt.
Namibia has given the marching orders to three French and one SA paparazzi photographers for trying to snap Jolie, who is eight months pregnant with Pitt's child.
Meanwhile, a bidding war has erupted between the US media, including US Weekly, and the paparazzi agency Phil Ramey for the rights to spy photos to appear in Huisgenoot this week. The photos were taken by SA photographer John Liebenberg.
Huisgenoot Editor Esmaré Weideman says the photos - of highly pregnant Jolie, Pitt and their two adopted children Maddox and Zahara - will be the first to be published in a local magazine since the couple arrived in Namibia two weeks ago.
They're constantly surrounded by several bodyguards at the Burning Shore Hotel in Long Beach between Walvis Bay and Swakopmund.
Weideman says Huisgenoot already sold the photos to magazines in England, Germany, Australia and New Zeeland. The Ramey agency offered no less than $100 000 (about R600 000) for the photos.
According to her, the international media were expecting the couple - if not already over the weekend - to get married on Monday. One of Pitt's best friends, actor George Clooney, has apparently just arrived in the country.
Jolie and Pitt were last week spotted in a well-known jewellery shop - African Art Jewellers - in Swakopmund. That fuelled rumours of the upcoming wedding.
SA photographer Liebenberg, meanwhile reported from Namibia that it is now almost impossible to come within walking distance of the hotel where the couple live. They are expected to get married at the hotel.
A resident of Limpopo, meanwhile, alleged that Jolie's half-sister stayed the weekend at her house.
