Cape Town - Gwyneth Paltrow is considering leaving Hollywood because it is "male dominated".
She says there is a lack of decent Hollywood roles for actresses.
Gwyneth says she is also considering getting married and starting a family.
The New York Post reports Paltrow told German newspaper Berliner Zeitung: "Hollywood is a completely male-dominated world. I want to leave.
"At the moment, there is definitely a lack of interesting female roles and nothing that I would really like to undertake.
"I'm going to star in my first London theatre production this spring, but after that I'm not sure what I will do. I'd like to stay in Europe for a while, maybe in London, Berlin or Paris."
The 29-year-old star of The Royal Tenenbaums added: "I also think about marrying and having children, but at the moment, I don't have any concrete designs on how that should happen. It all lies in God's hands.
"I'm looking forward to becoming older and quieter, and hopefully I won't have to make as many films. In the future, I only want to make films which have real meaning.
"Madonna is a good friend, and she has given me lots of advice. One of the most important pieces she has given me is not to waste time worrying what other people think of me."
Paltrow will make her West End debut in the play Spoof at London's Donmar Warehouse for a six-week run in May. She plays the daughter of a mathematical genius, trying to come to terms with his death and his
legacy.
