Bollywood actor in hospital

New Delhi - India's biggest movie star, Amitabh Bachchan was hospitalised on Monday after he complained of abdominal pain, news reports said.
Bachchan, 63, was undergoing tests at New Delhi's premier Escorts Hospital, after he complained of severe abdominal pain, hospital director, Dr Naresh Trehan, said on Star News television channel.
Bachchan's son Abhishek, himself a rising Bollywood star, and daughter Shweta Nanda, were with the actor at the hospital.
Trehan said Bachchan's condition was not serious, but the hospital was conducting a series of tests on him.
Bachchan has acted in more than 150 Hindi language films in a career that has spanned three decades and is reported to be the highest paid actor in Bollywood, as India's prolific film industry located in Bombay is called.
Bachchan continues to be a Bollywood icon with three major hits this year - Black, Bunty Aur (and) Babli and Sarkar.
