Oasis wants to rock like Stones

London - Liam Gallagher wants Oasis to keep rocking until they are pensioners.
The 35-year-old singer plans to still be touring with his band mates - brother Noel, guitarist Gem Archer, bassist Andy Bell and drummer Chris Sharrock - well into old age, just like his idol Sir Mick Jagger's group The Rolling Stones.
"I want to be doing this in 20, 30, 40 years time. I didn't join this band to split up. We're not splitting up," Liam declared.
"We have lots of fun. We wouldn't be doing it otherwise. I love being in this band. There are loads of people in bands, and loads who don't love it. I love it. It's cool as fuck.
"If the Stones and Neil Young are still out doing it, I don't see why we shouldn't when we get older."
The Rolling Stones are all in their sixties - Mick, 65, Keith Richards, 64, Charlie Watts, 67, and Ronnie Wood, 61 - while Neil Young is 62.
Manchester-born Liam also says he doesn't care if people think he is arrogant and outspoken, because it's true.
"People think me and Noel are loudmouths, and we probably are loudmouths. A lot of Mancunians are very self-confident," added the Shock of the Lightning singer - who recently branded Coldplay and Radiohead fans "boring and ugly". - Bang Showbiz.com
