'Santa' steals plasma TVs

Buenos Aires - A thief dressed up like Santa Claus and five accomplices robbed a home electronics store in Buenos Aires during the Christmas holiday weekend, a police official said on Tuesday.
The malevolent Santa stood watch at the door of the store in the touristy Recoleta neighbourhood in the capital, while the band of robbers helped themselves to computers, plasma-screen televisions and other home electronic equipment after entering the building through a window.
The robbers stashed their bounty in a small truck and escaped without a trace, the police official said, after piecing together the accounts of several neighbours.
