Making a feather of Charlize

Oudtshoorn - A Little Karoo organisation took the bull, or should it rather be the ostrich by the feathers this week and sent South Africa's Hollywood star, Charlize Theron, an assortment of designer gear adorned with ostrich feathers.
It is hoped that Charlize will alight from her limousine on the night of the Oscars decked out in these proudly South African accessories.
Among the gifts include a cream-coloured boa, which has eight layers, an ostrich feather handbag and a red ostrich feather and mohair shawl.
Jan Greyling a member of the organisation said that Charlize was opposed to animal products but that those closest to her received the gifts with open arms.
He said her personal assistant said the gifts were appreciated and that they were handed over to Charlize along with a good luck message.
However, she was not able to say whether Charlize would wear the accessories on the night of the Oscars.
