In the news: Shot dead in hijacking gone wrong

South Africa was plunged into mourning after reggae star Lucky Dube was shot dead in a botched hijacking in Rosettenville, Johannesburg, in October.

Dube, who recorded tracks in Zulu, English and Afrikaans, was one of the first artists to play reggae in his homeland and was widely admired abroad.

Four men have been arrested in connection with the murder.

    People who are commiting murder they must be sentenced life because people lost his/her life.Especially those who are the foreigner that they don't have a necessary documents to come into contry.

    ...and that's a fact, is that if the people you voted in don't do anything about the "real" problems, then why are you voting for them? Make someone, who wants to make a change, the real voice of South Africans.

    People who kill others must also be killed because we SA people suffer a lot with this sought of criminals,I say if we can vote for what is right for us Death penalty must be back & all this foreigner must go and kill each other at their own countries.Salome

    No one its safe,in my beloved country. Even our heroes people dont see them at all!!Lucky was propably one of artist,whom when we were under the old regime(apart-heid). kept singing and smiling at all time, what ever difficulties we were going through.South Africans were are shame!!shame!! to our selves,
