Candice is SA's first 'Angel'

Cape Town - Model Candice Swanepoel has become the first South African to be chosen as a Victoria's Secret "Angel".
Once a year Victoria's Secret launches their new lingerie line and the fashion show features the most beautiful women in the world wearing the very latest Victoria's Secret lingerie.
Candice Swanepoel of Ice Models South Africa will join international models Adriana Lima, Heidi Klum, Alessandra Ambrosio, Karolina Kurkova, Miranda Kerr, Izabel Goulart and Selita Banks at the annual Victoria's Secret fashion show to be held in Los Angeles.
This year the show will feature performances by Kanye West, the recently reunited Spice Girls and Seal will be performing with his supermodel wife and "Angel" Heidi Klum.
Born in Mooi River in the Kwa-Zulu Natal Midlands, Candice now lives in New York and has been modelling since the age of 15 where she was spotted at a Durban flea market.
Lavish event
The Victoria's Secret fashion show features mostly lingerie and the lavish event attracts hundreds of celebrities and entertainers from around the world.
The "Angels" are the most visible models in the fashion show and the giant angel wings worn by the models are Victoria's Secret fashion trademark.
Previous "Angels" include Tyra Banks, Gisele Bundchen, Helena Christensen and Daniela Pestova.
