'Let Michael RIP'

Dear Editor,
I sit at work every day and look at the way the media invades the late Michael Jackson's privacy and I am truly shocked.
I have been seeing this famed man in the media since I was a little girl and personally have never really been a fan.
Not because I had anything against him, his music was just not for me. Weird, I know!
I believe this man was pulled up to fame so fast he never had a chance to grow up. What is sad is that people that should have known better took advantage of his fame.
I mean, think about it, in normal circumstances, if I had become addicted to prescription drugs due to insomnia, my doctor took an oath to refer me to a psychiatrist.
Michael Jackson was so famous that the doctors did not want to leave him alone. They took advantage of his insecurities and instead of helping this little boy to grow up they managed to get more money out of him.
Worse yet, even though he has found eternal peace, the media will not let him rest in peace. What was his fault but to just be famous? I have heard every reason why he caused his own death but no person who was really willing to help him.
The journalist who went into his house pretending to be his friend, turned into an enemy who found the story he was looking for.
Sure he was hooked on drugs, but who gave him access to those drugs? Okay, so he his face was falling apart, who against better judgement did those surgeries, it certainly was not him.
All I am saying is that he was not alone in his discrepancies, he did have some aid, and since he has passed on, can't we have some sense to leave him alone. As my mother always said, if you do not have something good to say, do not say it at all, especially when it comes to the dead.
