'Respect them all'

Dear Editor,
The following message is in respond to the article: A man's world? by Mr Simon Williamson.
It is unfortunate that sometimes, even in sport, the topic of being biased comes into play often. Surely the means to support your fellow opposite gender is more important than trying to be the better of the two.
Roger Federer along with all other legends such as Navratilova, Hingus, Graf, Sampras, Bjorg and all others should be respected for what they have achieved in tennis irrespective of their sex.
They all deserve the recognition of a life time. What people should understand is that not everyone will get the same attention as others and that has nothing to do with being a male or a female.
My heart goes out to people that still dwell around unnecessary situations caused by our own kind to break each other down. There are more important matters at hand in our current place on earth.
