Washington - Microsoft Corp on Friday confirmed the timeline for the release and availability of its 2007 Microsoft Office system, saying it will be in retail circulation by January.
The world's biggest software company said it remains on track to complete work on the system by the end of October.
It will offer the product to business customers through a volume licensing program during that month.
It then anticipates retail and original equipment manufacturer availability of 2007 Microsoft Office will coincide with similar availability of its Vista operating system in January 2007.
Microsoft announced a delay in the release of Vista on Tuesday and on Wednesday reshuffled management of its Windows division.
