London - Chart-topping pop singer Natasha Bedingfield's laptop with a hard disk full of new songs and lyrics - has been stolen at a London airport, the Sun newspaper reported on Wednesday.
The New Zealand-born 22-year-old, who recently shot to the top of the British charts with These Words, lost the computer at Heathrow airport earlier this month.
It contained fresh material as well as uncut work from her debut album, Unwritten, and had been stored inside her suitcase, The Sun reported.
Police refused to confirm the report, beyond saying that a woman had reported the theft on September 2 of a laptop at Heathrow, and that an investigation was continuing.
Bedingfield, whose brother Daniel Bedingfield is also a successful singer, burst onto the charts in May with her first single, called Single.
