Centurion - A factory producing bottled mineral water burnt down at Irene in Centurion on Sunday morning, Tshwane Metro Emergency Services said.
Spokesperson Pieter Botha said a company employee of Nestle Waters, which produces mineral water brands including Valvita, apparently
noticed the fire and alerted firefighters shortly after arriving
at work.
"The entire factory burned down and most of its contents,
including plastic bottles of water in wooden crates, were
destroyed."
No one was injured during the fire.
Botha said it has not yet been established how the fire started.
