Durban - Judgment in the Schabir Shaik fraud and corruption trial in the Durban High Court is expected to be completed by midday on Thursday.
On Wednesday Judge Hilary Squires adjourned the delivery of his verdict for a second consecutive day.
He was expected to continue with the summary of the evidence on count two of corruption which involved Shaik's alleged attempts to solicit a bribe of R500 000 a year for deputy president Jacob Zuma.
On Wednesday, Squires said there was overwhelming evidence for the case of "general corruption" against Shaik and rejected his version of events relating to his fraud charge.
Shaik has pleaded not guilty to two charges of corruption and one of fraud.
