Cop killed: Two arrested

Bisho - Two men were arrested for killing one policeman and injuring another in Sterkspruit near Aliwal North on Tuesday, police reported on Wednesday.
Superintendent Mike Fatyela said police had received a tip-off about two men who were suspected of robbery which took place on Monday.
They went to the home of one of the alleged robbers and on their arrival a shootout ensued.
One police officer was fatally injured and the other seriously injured.
He was taken to the Sterkspruit clinic where he was reported to be a stable condition.
The two men were later arrested and would appear in court soon on charges of murder and attempted murder.
