Johannesburg - Labour Minister Membatisi Mdladlana has confirmed the deadline for registering domestic workers for the Unemployment Insurance Fund has been
extended.
He told 702 radio news that home-owners now had until May 7 to register their domestic workers.
Domestic workers who are employed for more than 24 hours a month must be registered with the UIF.
But Mdladlana told the radio station that Tuesday's deadline had been extended as there were still many domestic workers who hadn't yet been registered.
