Johannesburg - Some of the allegations in Jurie Els's affidavit in the Cape High Court are:
"Robbie Klay's mother, Jenny Liebenberg, tried to seduce me one night. She was provocatively dressed, she lay stretched out on the couch and she undid her blouse buttons in front of me. I told her I wasn't interested. There were many other (seduction) attempts by her."
Liebenberg's response on Thursday night was: "Shock, at such a blatant lie. It's absolutely not true. I'm not that kind of person."
"He, Klay, told me that the year he went to school his sister had bought him the video, Basic Instinct as a Christmas present. The sexually-explicit, violent film has an age restriction of 21. He told me it was one of his favourite movies. It shocked me. Robbie dismissed my scolding on the basis of me being an old fuddy-duddy, with archaic values."
Klay denied this.
"Robbie's promiscuous attitude worried me. His favourite crass expression was that he wanted 'to fuck a girl till she bleeds'. I pointed out the immoral nature of promiscuous sex to him. He rejected my advice and my warnings with contempt."
"One night, he (Klay) wanted to drive on the N2 stretch between Mossel Bay and George. I refused. He got very angry when he couldn't get his own way and threatened me, saying that unless I did what he wanted he 'would tell people that the uncle was touching him'. I was shocked. It was a false allegation."
"Robbie doesn't shy away from reckless and false allegations that can damage the lives of others. He alleges, in the Huisgenoot article, that I fondled him and even had oral sex with him. The allegations are all lies. But, lying comes easy to Robbie. And, he knows how to play the media."
"My marriage to Hestrie Cloete hit Robbie very hard. He always hoped that I would marry his mother. The birth of our child was equally difficult for him. For many years, I was a father-figure to him. Now, there are other children in the house who need my attention."
"He also saw the fact that I'm moving to New Zealand as a form of rejection. For many years, I was the only stable, dependable point in his otherwise unstructured world."
"In the Huisgenoot article, it said that I was obsessed with the actor, Wynand Uys, who apparently appeared in the film, Dirkie. I don't know who Wynand Uys is, and I've never seen the film, Dirkie. The allegation against me is not true."
