Knysna murders: Trial begins

George - The trial of the man suspected of murdering two young women at Knysna in the Southern Cape, about two years ago, is due to start in the High Court on Tuesday.
Heinrich van Rooyen is accused of two counts of murder, rape, indecent assault and perjury.
The body of 19-year-old Jessica Wheeler was found with stab wounds outside a church in Knysna in September 2005. The body of 20-year-old Victoria Stadler was found a month later near Hornlee.
Van Rooyen has pleaded not guilty, the broadcaster reported.
