Revenge of the 'ugly' women

Nelspruit - Two women are accused of beating and stripping a young woman, dragging her naked in public and then forcing her boyfriend's 13-year-old brother to have sex with her.
Ester Smangele Nkosi, 42, and Phumzile Matsane, 28, of Mara farm outside Nelspruit, were allegedly "punishing" the young woman for spreading rumours that they were so ugly they frightened children on the farm.
They face charges of assault with intent to do grievous bodily harm, indecent assault and committing an immoral act with a boy under the age of 19.
The boy was allegedly threatened with a beating if he didn't have sex with the young woman when the alleged incident took place on October 4. He reported the two women to security officials on the farm.
The women appeared in the Nelspruit sexual offences court on Friday.
They were denied bail and were remanded until the case resumes on November 27.
