Uitenhage - A cellphone video showing a Grade 11 schoolgirl involved in a sexual act with a friend has been distributed free of charge around her school.

"First you see her face. Then her upper body. At the end you see her lower body," say pupils who have seen it.

In the three-minute-long video, the girl reportedly has sex with the friend, who recorded the event.

The recording, called Strelitzia bitch, was distributed free of charge among the pupils of the Strelitzia High School.

Catfight video

The video follows less than a week after a cellphone video of two Grade 11 Westering High School pupils involved in a cat fight, was distributed for R5.

In that incident, three episodes were filmed - the first about the girls fighting in a school room; the second how the fight moved to the playground and a third where the one girl ran away and how her opponent caught up with her.

Insults such as "You fucking bitch" were clearly audible.

In addition to this, a cellphone video of two Alexander Road High School boys fighting also did the rounds.

Charges laid

The principal of Strelitzia High School, Nico Claassen, said the cellphone recording had been handed over to the police and a charge had been laid because the school's name had been used in the video.

The girl has not been at school the past week. The recording was apparently made after school and outside the school premises.

The chairperson of Strelitzia's governing body, William Exford, said they couldn't comment about matters occurring outside school hours.
