Johannesburg - A man was sentenced to 30 years in prison by the Pretoria High Court on Wednesday for the rape of a minor, police said.
Inspector Matthews Nkoadi said 33-year-old Samuel Malatji was sentenced following the rape of a 13-year-old girl in February 2002.
In a separate case two men were sentenced to five life sentences and 15 years each after the gang rape of a woman in Soshanguve in September 2006.
Nkoadi said: "Aron Nonyane and Webster Moeketsi were both sentenced in the Pretoria High Court.
"During the incident the woman was raped by five men, three of whom are still on the run."
