Hijacker killed in shoot-out

Johannesburg - Police arrested two men and shot one dead in a shoot-out following a hijacking in Alexandra on Sunday.
Spokesperson Captain Cheryl Engelbrecht said the incident happened shortly after five men hijacked a man of his Toyota Condor.
The man alerted police and followed the men in another vehicle.
The police stopped the men near the George Goch hostel and a gunfight ensued. Two men were shot. One died on the scene and another was in a critical condition.
Another man was arrested and two fled.
No one else was injured in the shooting, said Engelbrecht.
Police were investigating.
