Modjadjiskloof - One person was killed and several houses damaged during a storm in Limpopo on Sunday night.
A 48-year-old man was killed in Mohlabaning village outside Modjadjiskloof when the roof of his house collapsed.
"No other deaths or injuries have been reported," said Greater Letaba municipal spokesperson Vaidah Rakubu on Monday.
She said two cows were electrocuted and died, while 32 houses were destroyed in Maphalule, Jamela and Mohlabaning villages.
The municipality's disaster management team was visiting the affected villages late on Monday to assess the damage and to deliver tents and food parcels.
Home Affairs officials were also visiting the villages to assist victims who have lost birth certificates and ID books.
