11 police officers hurt in crash

Port Elizabeth - Eleven police officers were injured when their vehicle overturned on the Old Grahamstown road on Sunday, Eastern Cape police said.
The officers, stationed at Mount Road police station in Port Elizabeth, were travelling in a kombi from Motherwell police station when a tyre burst and the driver lost control, said spokesperson Sandra Janse van Rensburg.
They were taken to St Georges Hospital and Greenacres Hospital for treatment of their injuries, she said.
