Polokwane - The two cousins who were with Tshepo Matloha when he was attacked by a group of rugby players on a farm where they were illegally hunting, will probably soon appear in court.
A family member of Riaan Botha, on whose farm Matloha died, confirmed on Thursday that they were trying to have the two cousins charged with the help of the Freedom Front. Botha was earlier found guilty of Matloha's murder.
Melford and Alex Motlokwana will be charged with trespassing and illegal hunting.
News about the planned legal action against the Motlokwanas comes after recent reports of an increase in game poaching and illegal hunting with dogs, especially in the Dendron and Bandelierkop regions in Limpopo.
In a recent case, three illegal hunters filed a charge of attempted murder against a farmer from Bandelierkop after he shot their dogs.
Another farmer from Bandelierkop recently sent a video to President Thabo Mbeki to highlight the farmers' plight after he had to kill a kudu that had been attacked by a pack of dogs.
