Man guilty of road rage murder

Johannesburg - Motorist Owen Kroeger was found guilty in the Johannesburg High Court on Tuesday of murdering motorcyclist Morare Matekane in a road rage incident in August 2001, SABC radio news reported.

The court rejected Kroeger's claim that he killed Matekane in self-defence.

Kroeger, 30, of Meyerton, shot Matekane in a Johannesburg street after accusing the motorcyclist of damaging his side mirror.
