Pretoria - Police are searching for four children who could be victims of advocate Cézanne Visser, better known as advocate Barbie and her former lover, advocate Dirk Prinsloo.
The deputy director of Public Prosecution, Retha Meintjes, says photographs of the children could be among those confiscated by the Police in the house of Prinsloo's smallholding in Raslouw, Centurion. The Police think the children could be either orphans or street children.
Visser and Prinsloo initially appeared in the Pretoria magistrate's court on charges of indecent assault and being in possession of child pornography, but more charges could be added as investigations continued.
Visser decided on Friday to talk to Prinsloo again. She asked the court to rescind an earlier decision, prohibiting Prinsloo from contacting her.
Meintjes said initially Visser volunteered to be a state witness and Prinsloo was prohibited from making contact with her, but as the case proceeded, the state decided to prosecute her as well.
