Man shot in armed robbery

Durban - The owner of a popular Durban North restaurant was shot and seriously wounded in an armed robbery on Saturday, police said.
Inspector Michael Read said the incident took place at Jaipur Palace in Durban North.
"Seven men entered the premises and took cellphones and cash," said Read.
One robber then shot the owner of the premises in the chest. He was in a critical condition in hospital.
Police launched a search for the robbers.
