Man shot in hijacking

Durban - A 35-year-old Durban man was shot twice during a hijacking in Durban's Umlazi suburb on Monday morning, police said.
Spokesperson Inspector Michael Read said the incident took place on Zagqaji Road in N Section, Umlazi around 06:00.
"A man was hijacked of his Yaris and shot twice - in his shoulder and stomach," said Read.
He was taken to Prince Mshiyeni Hospital in a critical condition.
The car has not yet been found.
Durban South spokesperson for the Umlazi area, Superintendent Daniela Veldhuizen was not immediately available for comment.
