Woman killed with hammer

Groblersdal - A 70-year-old woman was killed with a hammer and her husband sustained injuries after a man attacked them at their home in Dennilton near Grobersdal, Mpumalanga police reported on Sunday.
Captain Malculm Mokomene said the man entered the couple's home on Saturday night.
He then battered the woman to death with a hammer before slamming the husband on the head and hands with the hammer.
The injured man was later taken to the Philadelphia hospital for treatment.
The attacker, who fled afterwards, was known to the couple.
