Man gets life for rape

Johannesburg - A 34-year-old man was sentenced to life imprisonment by the Ermelo circuit court for raping a 13-year-old girl, Mpumalanga police said on Wednesday.
Sergeant Charles Nkosi said Thomas Mathibela raped the girl, then aged 13, at his house in Emzinoni, Bethal, in June 2002.
He had lured her to his house by asking her to collect some of her older sister's belongings.
