Drowned boy found in lagoon

Knysna - The body of a 13-year old boy, who was presumed to have drowned in Knysna Lagoon, has been found, said Western Cape police on Sunday.
Captain Malcolm Pojie said the boy was suspected to have drowned on Saturday afternoon and the body was retrieved at 22:45.
"The boy and three of his friends went on a boat in shallow waters after they allegedly wandered off from a gathering at Lourie Park. They got into trouble when the boat steered into a channel and they capsized."
Pojie said the boat disappeared under the water.
The dead teenager was identified as Lindokule Silimela from White Location, Knysna.
Police have opened an inquest docket.
