Couple hijacks test-drive car

Johannesburg - A man and a woman are on the run after they hijacked a new car they were test-driving from a dealership in Phalaborwa, Limpopo, said police on Wednesday.
Superintendent Moatshe Ngoepe said the couple, believed to be in their 30s, went to the dealership on Tuesday afternoon, under the pretence that they wanted to buy the car.
A staff member from the dealership accompanied the couple on the test drive. The woman drew a gun and forced him to leave the car.
The couple sped off in the white BMW 320i they were test-driving. On Wednesday afternoon, police were still searching for them.
Ngoepe said: "If anyone sees a white BMW 320i, car registration: DVY 441 N, please contact CrimeStop on 08600 10111."
A case of car hijacking was being investigated.
