Unisa wants Aristide

Pretoria - The former Haitian presidential couple, Jean Bertrand Aristide and his wife Mildred, might soon be regulars on the Unisa campus in Pretoria.
Unisa's principal, Dr Barney Pityana, said the university was looking at ways of involving both Aristide and his wife in research and publishing work at the institution.
"It is not lecturing, but rather more research and publishing. We think there is a lot both of them can offer."
Mildred Aristide holds a law degree from the University of Pennsylvania in the US. Aristide himself holds degrees in philosophy and psychology from universities in Haiti.
