Cops arrest escapees

Johannesburg - Two men who escaped from police custody in Port St Johns earlier this month were rearrested in Alpha City near Mthatha on Thursday, said Eastern Cape police.
The two, aged 21 and 26, had been in custody for armed robbery and escaped on December 1, said Captain Zamakulungisa Jozana.
They were rearrested at 09:15 by the National Investigative Unit.
They will appear in the Port St Johns Magistrate's Court on Monday.
