Farm attack after dogs poisoned

Nelspruit - Mpumalanga police are searching for three men who attacked a farmer and his daughter and stole R15 000 at Diepkloof near Groblersdal.

Inspector Leonard Hlathi said the men entered the house after poisoning the dogs outside.

They forced the man and his daughter to the ground and ordered them to remain silent.

The robbers then ransacked the house and stole R15 000 before fleeing in the farmer's bakkie.

They also stole a pistol. No one was injured and no arrests have been made.

The Nat govt was found to be using taxpayers money to propagandise apartheid eg they floated a news magazine called ‘To the Point’ which was supportive of the Nats.
The result when the SA press got hold of it and the general public became outraged….Eschel Rhoodie, govt official responsible was charged by the govt for fraud / theft and hunted down, Connie Mulder, the responsible MP had to resign and Prime minister Vorster had a heart attack, resigned and later died, leading to PW Botha taking over as Prime Minister.

That was the level of ethics in the SA govt and public sector back then.

Yes, apartheid was a moral corruption, but compare the above situation with the rape of public funds by govt and the general acceptance thereof by the voting public.
