Rape suspect caught napping

Thohoyandou - An 18-year-old Limpopo man who fell asleep after breaking into a house on Sunday morning and raping a woman was arrested in the woman's bed, police reported.
Captain Ailwei Mushavanamadi said the man, who was unarmed, broke into the 43-year-old woman's house in Tshituni village, near Makhado, at 02:00.
He raped the woman, said Mushavanamadi, but appeared to be under the influence of alcohol and fell asleep after the rape.
When the woman heard him snoring she got up and went to the police, who found the man still in her bed.
The man was arrested and would appear in the Dzanani magistrate's court on Monday or Tuesday, said Mushavanamadi.
